Randy Chase is a Global Human Resources Leader with unique corporate, educational and military expertise driving organizational transformation and developing leadership talent. He has had extensive corporate experience as a senior Learning and Development professional with UBS AG and People’s United Bank. In 2012, Randy launched Chase Performance Group, LLC to focus on Leveraging Talent to Drive Performance and Developing Leaders to Change Their World.
Randy joined UBS in March 2001 and helped establish the UBS Leadership Institute to support the firm’s top 600 global leaders. The UBS Leadership Institute designed and implemented a number of senior leadership programs, High Potential programs, core management programs, as well as cultural change initiatives over a six-year period. Beginning in 2009, as part of the UBS Business University, Randy had global responsibility for Executive Coaching, Managing Director On-Boarding and the new Managing Director Promotion event. Prior to joining UBS, Randy was Manager, Leadership and Professional Development, at People’s United Bank.
He joined People’s United Bank upon his retirement in July 1999 as a Colonel after serving 25 years in the United States Army where he served as a leader and manager in multiple line and staff (HR and Training) positions around the globe. Randy commanded a 460 member Field Artillery Battalion in Germany and headed the Strategic Planning group responsible for Europe and North Africa, He was Head of HR for two different Army units, held multiple Learning and Development positions and taught Leadership and Sociology in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership at the US Military Academy at West Point.
Randy is currently President of the Southern Connecticut SHRM (SOCTSHRM) Chapter and a member of the Sacred Heart University’s (SHU) Management Department Advisory Board. He is actively involved in the Nichols United Methodist Church (NUMC) Appalachian Service Project and a board member of the Norma F. Pfriem Urban Outreach Initiatives, Inc..
Randy holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Sociology from Northern Illinois University, a Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.
